Watercolor: Woodlands (& an Exhibit at True North Gallery)

I’m thrilled to share that I’ve got a foxy watercolor in this lovely exhibit – Outfoxed, at True North Gallery in South Hamilton, Massachusetts, opening this weekend, April 30th. I’ll be on the opposite side of the country at the San Diego Artwalk this Saturday and Sunday, so I’ll miss the opening, but if you’re on the east coast, and near South Hamilton, stop by and enjoy this beautifully curated show. If you’re interested in women artists of the Renaissance, and you have 20 minutes, watch this PBS presentation on the re-discovery & restoration of thousands of works painted by women in Florence, Italy (at a time when ladies weren’t really supposed to be artists), and learn about the team of champions behind this resurrection & exhibition project. Just slap anything on when you see a blank canvas staring you in the face like some imbecile.
